Artist Statement While combining textures found in nature through photography, traditional painting, and multi mediums. Ted has found his style and challenge to produce art in such a unique way that is of his own, that he refers to as "Multi Medium Layering Art ." While producing art in its organic form, Ted has sought after a deeper more realistic form and textural qualities to give his art a true layering feel to it . Combining these elements with life and study has produced some quite wonderful textural effects. A native to Atlanta ,Georgia , Ted has learned most of his skills on his own (self taught , though, not to take any deserved credit away from his teachers and instructors). Its just Art has its own way of attracting to who it wants to. Going to and realizing its capabilities to whom it wishes, Its up to the Artist inside to know when its there and to listen how to develop or create what needs to cultivate in us, so the rest of the world can share. All my life I've enjoyed creating new and colorful images. This has developed into a love and passion for art pieces that reflects emotions in my self, and what I see in others, symbolizing love, spirituality, comfort, and escape. This world has enough demands on us, and art has always helped me to find my own way through imagnation, that I found inside my self to share with others that I beleive may be the common thread that connects us all,
