Artist Statement Buoyant and lyrical, the visions of Genevieve Esson are carried to realization in a flow of dancing electricity which embraces and bolsters the spirit of the denizens depicted. A wily legerdemain of implementation transfers a blithe and musing anima directly from the notions of the artist to the heart of the beholder.Surreal artist who works on paper and canvas. My style is conceptual fantasy. Themes are animals, the environment, music and people. My work can also be described as figurative, abstract and colorful. Another good word is whimsical. My mediums are color pencil on pastel paper and oil or acrylic mixed media on canvas.
