Artist Statement To me, art is everywhere I look. I only see the world how it should look rather than how it is. This outlook is how I create my images. I work mostly with acrylic paints, using a lot of vibrant colors. I also like to dabble in sketching and pastels. Most of my work is musically inspired pop art. Visual art and music go hand in hand, and that is what i like to portray on canvas. To me being able to draw, paint, or create the image of a person is the most challenging and rewarding artistic experience. This is because not only do you have to get every curve and line exact, but the essence and soul of the person must be present as well. That is what I try to portray in my work. My pieces are meant to be soulful and inspirational.
