Artist Statement My name is Sydney. I'm 16 years old. I have dealt with depression, bipolar, and self harm to name a few, starting when I was 6 years old. Drug abuse, violence and loneliness began my long road to showing the the realities of the darkness and beauty that this earth holds. All through the eyes of one girl who has faced eternity in the darkest corners, and embraced the beauty that broke through my walls and set me free. I have loved art since I can remember. I've always been the creative one, not paying attention, doodling, or day dreaming. I'm always creating new work and my art is my biggest passion. I always put my full effort, creativity, and enthusiasm into every piece I put my time into. I hope that my work will entertain, encourage, and inspire the eyes that choose to glance upon it. <3
