Description The work is representative of a sense of anxiety, dread and fear. Sometimes constant, at other times fleeting. Occasionally the feeling is overwhelming and at times it is just background noise, but it is always there, nagging. In person, the jarring of the bright blue screen-printed heart on red paint makes the work painful to the eyes and exhausting look at.Admittedly, this is not a happy work, but it is an expression of certain feelings we all experience from time to time. Originally an 8' x 8' canvas mixed media work. The paint is acrylic, watercolor, Copic marker, gel pen, and screen print ink on canvas.
