'Dimensional Peek #2'
This unique artwork reminds me of a mask, or someone peeking into or out of another dimension. It looks somewhat like a collage of interweaving and intersecting pieces of folded and contorted colored paper. It's a very unusual piece and striking in its use of color. Is it retro or modern? The deep red gold frame, with its gold bead innder edging, lends a nice emphasis to the colors. The exterior side panel is finished in black.
It has a slight sterographic effect, in the center orbs. If you look at the image a little cross-eyed, and bring the two 'eyes' together, you can see a slight 3D effect. It's not really intended to be viewed that way, it's just an artifact of the image. But it changes the perspective of the viewer, from that of a mask looking out, to that of you looking into the eye.
Note: The frame sizes I have chosen for each image in this series are slightly different.
