Artist Statement My interest in photgraphy started over 35 ears ago. At that time I aquired a new camera andtook some courses on how to use the camera and take good photos. I was told that i need to shoot at least 1,000 roles of film to even approach being good as a photographer and develop an eye for images. I have exceeded that many times over. One of my early gigs was with Fairchild Publications as a stringer for a couple of years. (It is nice to be nationally published.) In that guise I learned a lot about available light photography which I prefer to this day.

I am very good with objects and lighting to enhance the effectiveness of an image. Dorothy Hood was one of my clients and I did slides of her art along with the art of her group for a few years. She was a very interesting person and I enjoyed working with her.

Currently I am using digital technology to aquire and adjust the images and prints I create for my enjoyment and for the use of my clients.

During the years I have earned three degrees plus skills in project leadership, system design and analysis. I also have the knowledge and skills to help you plan your future while devloping the process of education that you can use to disseminate the information to the appropriate group of people where ever they may be.
