Description This is a digital painting done using Corel Painter and Photoshop.The wind towers lining the Dubai creek are the finest examples of Dubais preserved heritage. These are functional buildings which were previously used to let the wind breeze in and cool the insides of the houses. These rich heritage bound structures and the casual foggy weather of Dubai is capable of turning the hustle and bustle of the busy creek into a seemingly soothing picturesque.

Artist Statement I am a self taught natural media artist employing oil watercolor acrylic and pastel, and also a self taught digital media artist using mainly Photoshop and Corel Painter as my digital tools.

I started drawing and painting at an early age and pursued this as a hobby. It never occurred to me to take it up as a profession. I did my commerce graduation in my home country, India, and moved to Dubai to be employed here in a prestigious organization as an accountant. Painting was so much in my life and I refined my painting talents to such an extent that my diverse profession couldn’t get in my way of earning a reputation of being one of the finest visual artists of the Arabian Gulf region.

Inspired by some digital paintings I fell upon on the web, I started exploring the fast emerging new art form and was excited to discover its astounding possibilities for special effects which we can only wish with natural media. Nevertheless I also realized that digital artwork creation too demands talents and skills in natural media in addition to mastery over the digital tools, to force an appeal and attraction to the artwork with a painterly outcome. Equipped with both the natural and digital media skills I am confident of creating artworks of unparalleled appeal and attraction.
