Artist Statement I'm Dawn Alberts. Pleased to meet you. :)
I'm a full time artist.
I'm a musician.
I'm a writer.
I'm a photographer.
...and I'm for hire.
I run a web based business called Perfect Paws Portraits...
But I don't just portray animals... have a look around...you'll get the idea.
I work with a multitude of mediums to bring my visions to life:
pen & ink
pastels (chalk and oil)
pencil
charcoal
oils
watercolor
acrylics
...and anything else I can get messy with.
I specialize in portraiture, illustration, calligraphy, murals, woodburning, designing tattoos, and just about anything you can think of...
I consider myself a 'people's artist', being that I understand that most of the people who appreciate my art are within my age bracket, and let's face it guys, we're all broke!
