Description This young coyote paused in his hunting when he spotted me watching him. I was farther away than I would've liked, but still, I was captivated by the way he made eye-contact. I took a few photos, but mostly, we watch each other. He's young, healthy, and probably has a family around the area. Also, he was a bit playful, hopping here and there - catching ground squirrels, I think. I don't think he was too hungry though since he found me far more interesting. This is one of my favorite shots, and like the others, for every one sold, one dollar goes to help the wildlife refuge in my town. We have moose, elk, deer, badgers, and many other animals. The idea is to help preserve it.Feel free to critique or share your own experiences. For photos sold out of state (especially when several are sold), a donation (again, a dollar per photo) will be made in the area of the purchaser and if that's you and you would prefer that the donation be made in your name, just let me know.
