Artist Statement I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember - especially of nature and wildlife. I'd never considered investing in a good camera and was happy with any old point and shoot that took a decent photo - that is until I finally picked up my first DSLR in the Fall of 2010! I was totally hooked on the quality of the photos and now I'm continually practicing to improve my skills and my photos. I love taking nature photos, but my favorite subject is birds. I am always out in search of a new bird or looking for my next photo subject - wildlife, flowers, butterflies, trees - just about anything that attracts my eye. I never go anywhere without my camera because that next great photo op could pop up at any moment. I started this page after I had some friends express an interest in purchasing my photos. I can't thank them enough for giving me that little push to send me in a direction that I find I love tremendously!
