Description A square format extreme macro photograph of a rather pretty self-seeded small geranium from my garden in Sissinghurst, Kent, UK. what you see here are two stamens with grains of pollen coating them. The colourful centre, radiating from the bottom is further stamens (with some pollen grains) and the cerise veins of the petals, with the white background being made up of the non-veined petal sections. This was of course taken with the mighty beast called the Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5X lens on the Canon 7D at a working distance of 1.6 inches.
