Description This was shot with the iPhone then manipulated in CS4. The iPhone is a tiny camera using a pinhole lens. It's extremely sophisticated as pinhole cameras go, but that's essentially what it is. What I like most about it is that even though the camera is only part of the iPhone package, it does so well as a digital camera and it's extremely portable.
Steven Yunghans, Fredonia Member Since July 2008 Artist Statement By nature, I'm a photographer but I started out in drawing/illustration. The oil pastels started out in a sketchbook as playful experimentation with a set of oil pastels I found in an office supply store. I've never liked oil pastels because they were so small and didn't offer much color/coverage. The ones I found were "huge" in comparison and allowed me to do what I had instinctively wanted to do with them.
