Description Even though more of Florida is getting paved all the time, agriculture is still a major industry in most counties. This scene of cows in a pasture is a composite of similar locations, but the sable palm trees and the rainbow were just as I saw them. The heavy summer thunderstorm was passing nearby and dropping enough rain to make a good display. In the background, cattle egret follow the cows to find the insects the cattle stir up. In the foreground, wood storks search the shallow water for small fish. The 24' x 36' original acrylic painting is still available for sale.
Robert Wince, New Smyrna Beach, Florida Member Since September 2009 Artist Statement I have been painting most of my life as a self-taught artist, but I have benefited from numerous classes and workshops. My work has been shown in galleries and outdoor art shows and I have won awards for my efforts. I paint mainly in acrylic and oil and my work ranges in size from 5"x7" to 36"x 60". I enjoy traveling and setting up my field easel in some beautiful area and painting what I see. Perhaps you've seen me painting in one of our national parks or hiking on a mountain trail. Many of the original paintings are still available for sale. email: robertwince1@gmail.com
