Artist Statement I have been doing artwork since my teenage years...During school I won a competition to have a piece of work exhibited in The Mall Gallery in London. I spent the first few years fascinated with the human form and face, doing portraits mostly with pencil and charcoal. As I have become older and broadened my scope with mediums and techniques I am loving the use of colour and texture to explore more recording my feelings and thoughts of the world around me. I still love to do portraiture as I find it focuses me at times when my thoughts and images in my head can run wild!
