Chrissy Avila, South West Florida Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I'm just a girl who has fallen in love with the world around me that I was only able to see after I looked through a camera. The grass shows me colors and shades of green I've never seen before. Photography has me stop and take a second look of the world around me and take in all the beauty it has to offer.
"The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera." -Dorthea Lange
"I didn't want to tell the tree or weed what it was. I wanted it to tell me something and through me express its meaning in nature." ~Wynn Bullock
