Artist Statement Hi, I'm Sheila Francis,

I'm a self taught Artist and Published Poet.
I'm working on creative ways to combine the two Art forms in unique & experimental ways. I trained as a silk screen printer & sign writer & love finding new ways to incorporate text into images. My earlier work was in children's art, which I enjoyed, now however, I'm moving towards more abstract & ethereal work. I love the spiritual/mystical side of life. I like to convey messages of hope & wisdom. I want my work to be simple but deep, thought provoking but uplifting.
