Artist Statement Jena was raised in Cocoa Beach, FL. After graduating from Auburn University she taught school for over 15 years in north Alabama. She moved back to Cocoa Beach in July of 2000 after studying to be a Massage Therapist in northern Virginia. Presently she works as a Licensed Massage Therapist, and artist. Jena is married, and she and her husband share 2 daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
She loves art is most any form, her favorite being beads, needle and thread. However drawing with her students during her years of teaching and now with her grandchildren often finds her creating with colored pencil. Of course, with beautiful grandchildren and living in paradise, she also loves to take photographs. Occasionally, by the grace of God, one will just be "perfect"! Hope you enjoy what you see!
