Eduardo Gutiérrez Franco

Artist Statement Eduardo was born in México City in 1949.
He took graphic arts and commercial drawing lessons from 1974 to 1975, and studied graphic design from 1976 to 1977.
From 1976 to 1978 he won first prices in spot drawing contests from Punto de Partida cultural magazine.
From 1979 to 1986 his art pieces were published in various Mexican newspapers and magazines, like La Jornada, Nexos and Siempre.
He had exhibitions at galleries and cultural centers in México City and Guadalajara since 1983, and his art pieces has been sold at Mexican galleries from 1983 to date.
Eduardo passed away in 2004.
