Description Desert waterfall on the Little Colorado River as it makes it's south to north route through Northern Arizona to meet it's big brother in the Grand Canyon. Snowmelt and seasonal monsoon rains fill the normally dry riverbed with water saturated with silt giving the river it's brown color. There is so much silt in the water the spray from the falls will coalesce into mud as it dries on your skin and clothing. The total height of the falls when running at full force is greater than Niagra Falls.
