Lillie Beltran Member Since November 2009 Artist Statement Hi! My name is Lillie, and I'm excited to be sharing my work on imagekind as well as having the opportunity to see others' works! I studied biomathematics and psychology at Rutgers University, but I also make time for my passion for art and photography. I've been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember. Back in high school, I won a district art award and a diversity logo design contest award. I also received art award ribbons each year for my work in my school's annual art show. In addition, I was given a scholarship to take a course in jewelry and metals at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. In college, I designed two concert program covers for the RU Queens Chorale and well as several of their flyers for auditions and concerts. While I still make time for drawing and painting, I've recently gotten into photography. I like to play around with different lighting and angles sometimes. My favorite things to photograph probably are nature, architecture, and scenes from my travels. I hope you like my work, and I always appreciate feedback!
