Artist Statement As Claes Oldenburg said, "I am for an art that is political-erotic-mystical, that does something other than sit on its ass in a museum." I strive to evoke emotion--whether it is on the sides of repulsion or admiration--in our otherwise apathetic society. I am ever changing-I am not a cohesive or finished product and neither is my art. I create with many traditional mediums, including but not limited to, watercolour, charcoal, graphite, coloured pencil, and textiles. I dabble in photography, and am mostly inspired by death and architecture. My favourite flavours are fashion, fetish, politics, and controversy. These are concocted in such forms as illustration, clothing/accesories, and collage/mixed media.
