Artist Statement I believe the Divine Principle of the universe, through my karma, is helping by making me uncomfortable in the material and physical existence so that I am able to be strengthened by this life experience. Art is an expansion of myself from the restrictions of a dysfunctional home environment. Surviving childhood and my arrested state, I have to grow and learn the truth of life. I have discovered a new world within myself which holds many facets of my being. I am growing and developing aspects of myself heretofore lying undiscovered for lack of a creator and, now, I claim the creatorship of myself. My creations are for fellow travelers in this realm. I originally used my imagination to escape from a ambivalent, scarcity oriented home environment and found a creative world where I could be connected, free and creative and develop my inner knowledge for happiness, creativity and joy.

I choose the joy of artistic creation for my gift to give to the world because I am freed by it. It accepts me and shows me who I am. Art has been a vacation for me, a place to expand my awareness from deep within my vivid inner universe into the vastly different outer world. Art is a therapeutic tool which connects me with my inner joy and heals the rift between me and the truth of human existence. Colour is very important in my expression of real life. The colour spectrum provides endless fascination for me.
