Description The Harlequin Duck is as unique as any bird that I've photographed. Its range is limited to small portions of Canada, Alaska, and an even smaller portion of the NW United States. Its habitat is rivers and streams with rapids where they dive for and eats invertebrates. They have the not so coveted distinction of having more broken bones than any other bird because of the rough waters that they live in.
RH Miller, Rigby, Idaho Member Since November 2007 Artist Statement I am a life long Idaho resident who is lucky to live in a beautiful area of the world which is close to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. As I travel more, I'm finding that there are many wonderful and unique places on this planet that God created for us.
My first love is Landscape photography, but my photographic interests include Wildlife and anything that catches my interest or eye. I hope the photographs presented here represent some of my best work.
