Artist Statement By training and trade, I am a career/life/business coach. I have been delivering expert coaching services since 1979 when I started my own business after ten years as a trainer at the University of Minnesota Human Resources Department.

Quite miraculously, in May of 2011, I discovered an amazing hidden talent: Abstract painting! I have never had a lesson, but a dear friend told me I had untapped talent. He bought me canvases and paints and brushes, and they sat for two years until that strange morning in May!

Today, my paintings are bringing upliftment, encouragement, and delight to patients of all ages and conditions all over the country and even the world. I founded and now direct the Advocacy Art Project, a non-profit foundation.

In 2012, I will be producing infinity (eternity) scarves with my art on them! These will be distributed as gifts to patients, and I will also retail them as a fund raising item for my foundation. I will add a picture of the scarves as they become available.
