Artist Statement Welcome to my world! I am a relentless perfectionist and romantic at the same time…. And I am passionate about my art!

I love to paint and share my art with the world! I enjoy the creative process and the ability to express myself through bold, vibrant color.

Born in Russia, I successfully completed Moscow’s School of Art and hold an AA Degree in Graphic Design. I have exhibited at numerous California galleries and many on-line galleries. My work can also be found in many private and corporate collections around the country and abroad. I was an invited Speaker/unique acrylic pouring demonstrator at many Bay area Art Associations. My art was also featured on many on-line blogs.

I work in several different art styles. Most of my recent works are whimsical paintings. My art is inspired by nature. You will see many tree, birds and flower theme paintings in my etsy shop: http://hjmart.etsy.com.

The most interesting aspect of my art is my unique technique. Over the years, I have developed a Unique Acrylic Pouring Technique™ that animates my explorations of Abstract Expressionism. This technique comes to life when the acrylic paint is mixed with water and, literally, poured onto the canvas, creating free-flowing shapes and forms. In my most recent works, I combine brush with pouring for even more interesting effects.

My art is highly collectible due to its unique, signature technique and recognizable style.
