Artist Statement My name is Lindsey L. Stuart Sr. and I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. After studying Commercial Illustration for 4 years, I was fascinated by watercolors. I began to experiment with watercolors while perfecting my skills in such a difficult and unique medium. I tend use bright colors along with contrasting shadows that brings life to my paintings. I was always told that watercolors should be loose and free, but I prefer using more defined painting techniques.

Living in South Florida and in The Bahamas, most of my work is a reflection of bits and pieces of my life. Each painting is significant to me, because they are reminders of key times in my life. I enjoy creating new works of art daily. I see each day as an image and I want to capture the moments.
