Artist Statement I am a young artist from Ryton, Gateshead, currently supported by the Prince's Trust.

I like to study the human form and am particularly interested in the contrast between light and dark. I like to explore this through studying how light hits objects and shapes, and convey this through the use of strong, acrylic colours.
I have studied the figure for many years and forms a staple basis for the subject matter which I paint.

I specialise in figurative work, though I also produce a range of colourful abstract paintings and photographs. I am available for commissions and will be happy to discuss options and ideas giving you the chance to tailor the artwork to your needs.
