Artist Statement Linda Burian (also known as EllebeeKay) is an Australian based author and designer of fun cartoon characters found in the DaisySmile product range - including books such as - DaisySmile In the Valley with Meggy Moo and Friends.
With inspiration from nature, combined with a love of creativity, DaisySmile was born. The DaisySmile characters have been inspired by the beautiful Yarra Valley in Australia, near where the author resides. It is here that she would hear the delightful 'mooing' of cows grazing on the hilltops. The region is home to many dairy farms, vineyards, craft markets and other attractions. From an early age Linda had a passion for all things creative including drawing, concept design, character creation and writing.
Linda's goal is to make the world a more positive place for children through her cartoon characters.
