Artist Statement Henrik Tamm is an artist and illustrator, author and screenwriter. Born 1972 in Halmstad, Sweden, he was raised in Tanzania, Pakistan and Peru. At age 19 he moved to Los Angeles where he studied at Art Center College of Design, and graduated with Distinction in 1995. Since then, he has worked as a conceptual designer in Hollywood, creating the worlds for such films as Shrek and Narnia, among many others. He has also written and illustrated the much loved children’s book series about Ninja Timmy. There are three books in the series with a fourth on its way. Rights have been sold to 10 foreign language territories.
