Artist Statement Detailed artistry depicts watercolor, mixed media paintings, and collage. I choose to offer relaxation and peaceful reflection in fantasy, spiritual enlightenment and color therapy. That insatiable drive to communicate artistically was mine to love from childhood. I was trained in the basic format of private lessons and college courses. Several years were spent as a miniaturist, producing oil painting reproductions of the Masters. During that period, I learned the skills of detailed production. I have lived and exhibited my paintings in Southern California, Melbourne, Australia, Chicago, and presently in Northern California. My creative grandchildren are among our loved ones here, and our studio is busy. A peaceful, enlightened life is ours to share.
