Artist Statement Coming from a family of artists, it was natural for me to express myself visually.
Art was always something that was encouraged and supported and for that I consider myself quite lucky.

I graduated from Parson’s School of Design in NYC in 1980.
Over the years, my illustrations have been used by many publishers both children’s trade and educational, magazines, newspapers, advertising, inspirational publishers, greeting cards and music books. Projects have included three inspirational card decks for Hay House Publishers and two children's books, both of which received Sydney Taylor Notable Book for Young Readers citations.

I work in a mixed media style combining watercolor, colored pencil, pen and ink, collage elements, and a technique that is similar to scratchboard.
My work has been exhibited many times and my work is in private collections.
