Artist Statement I first bought a digital camera in November '04, after moving to the photogenic south coast (UK) wanting to freeze memories of my new home. It wasn't until I showed a friend these pictures that I considered being, well, a photographer. For her encouragement I will always be grateful and I will never forget the words that always will stick with me "you have a good eye".

Since then I have self taught myself photography, and am still learning. In April '06 I became more serious about it after another good friend donated me a Sony w7 for my birthday. I am still using that camera, although itching to get my hands on a DSLR!

I simply enjoy photography, capturing emotion, beauty, a story in the most unusual or most obvious setting. I would never have gotten this far without the encouragement of my friends, and now the new friends I have made through online photography communities (see links), so thank you.

My work is for me and for anyone who enjoys looking at it.
