Born July 22, 1978 in Poltava, (Ukraine), Natasha began painting as a toddler. At the age of four, she became one of the youngest students ever to attend the Fine Arts Studio of the University of Engineering and Architecture in Kyiv. Natasha started exhibiting her book illustrations at an early age and was planning on becoming a professional artist for as long as she can remember.

Natasha immigrated to the United States at sixteen. She began her junior year of high school unable to speak English, and eighteen months later graduated in the top five percent of her class. Sazonova holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut and Master’s Certificate in graphic design from Sessions Online School of Art & Design.

Natasha donates her talent and free time in order to give back to the country that became her second home and has participated in events where the proceeds of the sales of her works went to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Nutmeg Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Danbury Hospital Heart program and the Jimmy Fund.

As an artist Ms. Sazonova creates art works for private collections as well as commercial enterprises. She enjoys painting creative, non-traditional portraiture in a variety of styles ranging from whimsical illustration to collage art and surrealism. As an illustrator, Natasha specializes in editorial and book illustration. Since she believes that in order to be a good illustrator an artist needs to be a well-rounded person; Natasha spends a lot of time on self-education. She speaks four languages and keeps up with world literature, philosophy and politics. In her free time Ms. Sazonova enjoys cooking, gardening and playing with her dog, cat and four chinchillas.
