Artist Statement We hope you will enjoy your time browsing through our galleries at Photobroz.com or here on Imagekind. Our website (www.photobroz.com) was started with the collaborative efforts of two brothers, Alex and Paul Corcoran. Here, we each share a part of out talents with you - Paul with his knack for business and web design, and Alex with his passion for travel and the visual art of photography. Together we have ventured on road trips throughout the United States, Central America and Alaska, managing not only to save each other from sticky situations, (there were a few) but have a good time in the process.
We both grew up in Louisville, KY., and have managed to venture out on our own as well; Paul spent time overseas serving with the Air National Guard, and Alex was six years in the Coast Guard before taking two years off to travel and compose most of the photographs you see on these sites. From the ice-studded bays of the Greenlandic coast to the crawling jungles of Costa Rica, these images took hours of patience and many miles of travel to capture. We hope you enjoy browsing through them as much as we enjoyed bringing them to you.
