Artist Statement David Roland currently engaged in creating a digital video and painted documentary of scenes and native peoples of Florida entitled: Fine Art of Native Florida. I have been fortunate to receive numerous Best of Show awards for this body of work.
My professional art expertise consists of Art & Creative Direction that comes from working many years in artwork production. This includes graphics design, digital pre-press, fine art paintings, commercial illustrations and fine art portraits. I have 30+ years experience in the comprehension of concepts and possess a deep resolve in applying concept, application and execution of display art and printed materials. In particular, Visual Communication and its use of type as elements in a composition.
He carried a dual major at the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI: Industrial Design and Photography, and Typography and Painting at the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, OH
