Artist Statement Hello. My name is Gaspar Ávila and I'm a portuguese photographer / designer. I always try an artistic and aesthetically pleasing approach to my subjects. My photography work is mostly about the Azores islands, their landscapes, architecture, culture and traditions, etc., but I also do conceptual work, mostly in studio.
Over the years I had many of my photos published worldwide in books, advertising and magazines, including National Geographic.
