Artist Statement Hi
I am a self taught photography who didn't discover the joy of taking photos until my early 50's. Now my camera equipment is seldom out of my reach.
Being an avid outdoors-man all of my life I naturally turned to nature photography. I live in rural southwest Mississippi, where my job as a farm manager allows me to encounter new photo opportunity at every turn.
Most of my photos are of flowers, insects, birds and wildlife of all sorts. I also have a gallery on Alaska and one on a fantastic historic place in our community called Windsor Ruins. This was a grand antebellum home built just prior to the Civil War and was destroyed by an accidental fire in 1890. All that remains are 23 beautiful Gothic columns.
Photos in my gallery are taken as I preform my daily chores around the farm. I take hundreds of photos a week, these are just a few that I enjoy the most and I hope you do also.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to read the ramblings of an old country boy!
