Description Up here, the only signs of time passing are the wispy clouds drifting down the valley. The broad dominant peak is Mount Tasman, while the more triangular peak of Mount Cook can be seen one quarter from the right edge. It is in fact higher than Mount Tasman, but more distant. This view was taken on an unforgettable 2-day heli-hike to Chancellor Dome in February 2004.
Mark Harrison, UK Member Since February 2007 Artist Statement I enjoy photographing landscapes and wildlife while travelling. Here you can find some of my favourite photos from New Zealand, Iceland, the Dolomites of Italy, Cornwall and the Orkney and Shetland Islands far in the north of Scotland. I love the beauty of nature and hope that you will enjoy these uplifting photos as much as I enjoyed being there!
