Artist Statement Nihariekka Lohia is a self-taught artist. After completing her post graduation in Event Management and is still studying Photography, In the past three years she has done various Solo shows and group shows in India.
Although this range is from her affordable art collection much of her work can be view at the Metropolitan Hotel in Delhi at the Art Spice Gallery.
Ranging from expressionist art to fauvist her style cant really be defined
She has take a bit from many arrays of modern art.
The vibrancy in her colours and bold strokes has much to say about her work that revolves around women empowerment and self-discipline and focus.
Her Entire collection is called Fractals to Phases.
Fractals are “self-similarity” Meaning they are shapes found in nature in organic and in in-organic forms. That when carefully observed change neither their size nor shape, they remain the same. They are not affected by space or time. They are constant.
Therefore my collection is about my journey of continuous exploration of these similarities I see in my life and my struggle to break them down in to smaller pieces only to find the same continuous pattern once again.
That every phase is built off the same concoction.
