Artist Statement Emily Painton is a painter and visual artist currently living in Austin Texas USA. She has a BFA in Art History and Photography from the University of Oklahoma and an MA in Art History from Tulane University in New Orleans, where she concentrated her studies in 19th Century French art. Since 2005, Emily has been back in her second home of Austin Texas, where she happily resides, plotting her next trip to Paris and painting faster than her studio has room.
