Artist Statement I am a fine artist who graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts with a Bachelors of the Fine Arts having majored in painting. I make paintings, prints and drawings of a wide range of subjects and styles, in my paintings I tend towards imitating fashion imagery in advertising and chase the truth in the connotations behind the symbols and mood portrayed in this bizarre market aimed at women. In my prints I fall back to a personal inner-peace found with nature, and in my drawings I tend towards the figure with tightly controlled colored pencil and looser chalk pastels and charcoals. I am currently preparing to attend graduate school and use selling prints and artwork as a means to not only network and help my artist's resume but also to financially back myself.
