Artist Statement Los Angeles has been my homebase since the beginning of my life, born in June of 1980. L.A. with all of its stereotypes and unseen phenomenons, this was the birth place for all of my creative ideas, friendship, overcoming internal hardships, and creating some dynamic memories.

I desire to experience life as a creative, harmonious, and healthy being. That's worth getting up everyday to create something great, something honest, and something inspiring for others, as they desire to live in the same fashion. I create art because it gives me peace and draws inspiration to other aspects of my life. I want my art to give the same effect for others.

I'm fascinated with high contrast, silhouette-like images because of its uncomplicated style of visual communication, and I adore bold, bright, and rich colors in art which is evident in my work. The minimalist approach to my personal style of art was a means to explore the richness in simplicity.

The subjects of my work originated as portrait photographs, only to be transformed into a "pop color" collection of art. My work may be simple in its color palette, yet these portraits communicate a powerful message that our presence is a gift. Art is living by design! Therefore, I illustrate the sacred message in the art of just BEING.
