Artist Statement C. D. Gibson became famous for his "Gibson Girl" drawings back in the late 1800's and the early 1900's and they still live on today as classics. I found these in an old book of his drawings owned by my mother and felt that they would make great prints that would fit in most homes with antique and traditional decor, although they can be used in a modern or classical decor also. All drawings were published in 1899 and are copyright free.
The children's illustrations come from a lovely book of nursery rimes that had once belonged to my father when he was a child in the early 1920s. Unfortunately the book itself is not in the best of conditions, but there is so many beautiful illustrations still in it to share. These were all created in about 1924 so they are copyright free Illustrations.
