Artist Statement Cristiana Cerretti graduated in 1997 in illustration at the Rome's European Design Institute (IED); she also attended the illustration school of Stephan Zavrél. Cristiana has illustrated more than thirty children books some of which has acknowledged by the "Munich's Jugend Bibliothek" with a special mention for the illustrations originality. She has worked with many advertising companies, as well as working on the images for the Children Literature Festival of Parma "Minimondi" in addition to her previous children's theater posters. Cristiana teaches illustration at the Arts and New Technologies Academy in Rome. She lives in a little tower in the Roman country.
