Artist Statement As a versatile artist, I've always loved to design and illustrate. I graduated with an Associate’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. Only because of recent changes in my life am I able to concentrate on my art. Painting acrylic abstracts is a recent passion that has already caught the attention of a photography supply company which will be reproducing my work. I have illustrated informational safety brochures in pen and ink for the American Pulpwood Association and had the opportunity to design a large architectural hardscape project with a landscape design company.

My abstract paintings evolve through improvisation, experimentation, and intuition, unfolding and taking shape as the work progresses. My paintings are inspired by texture, colors, modern art and the pure enjoyment of expressionistic abstract painting.
