Artist Statement My interest in photography started in high school. While I tried photographing nature, I just couldn't find the inspiration I needed to reach the level of work I wanted to achieve. Soon, my interests turned to computers, and photography was put aside.

Nearly twenty years later, when a friend introduced me to Jesus and I started my walk of faith, my interest in photography was renewed. Growing in my faith allowed me to see nature from a new perspective. I found myself more interested in the smaller, more intimate views. While I do enjoy photographing vibrant sunsets, powerful landscapes and playful wildlife, my favorite subjects are flowers. I thoroughly enjoy seeking and capturing the often overlooked subtle beauty, softness and texture of flowers. My photography style does present its challenges, but that challenge drives me to improve my technique and artistic skills.

Combining my love for Jesus, my passion for the details of nature, and the latest in digital photography and imaging tools, I now feel the inspiration I was looking for twenty years ago. My personal vision of the natural world around us is represented in my photography. I hope you enjoy it as well.
