Description Puffins in conversation on the tiny remote Isle of Noss in the Shetland Islands, far in the north of Scotland. The island is uninhabited except for two friendly wardens who work for Scottish Natural Heritage and operate the dingy connection to the island, as well as monitoring the birds. The island is a nature lover's paradise, teaming with puffins, guillemots, razorbills, gannets, fulmars, kittiwakes and oystercatchers, as well as seals and sheep! Watch out for the arctic terns and great skuas, though!
Mark Harrison, UK Member Since February 2007 Artist Statement I enjoy photographing landscapes and wildlife while travelling. Here you can find some of my favourite photos from New Zealand, Iceland, the Dolomites of Italy, Cornwall and the Orkney and Shetland Islands far in the north of Scotland. I love the beauty of nature and hope that you will enjoy these uplifting photos as much as I enjoyed being there!
