Description This was done in pastel, and it's a native bird of New Zealand. I love them, despite the fact some think they're a real pesky bird. The babies are just gorgeous, with their huge feet, and black fluffy bodies and red beaks.

Artist Statement I am Australian born, but have lived in New Zealand for many years now, and I have to say, the beauty of this country has always held me in awe, and you may see that influence coming through in my art. With that said, I also love the Australian Outback and the beautiful heritage buildings, and that too will show up in my work. My first efforts were done in pastel, and I go back to it from time to time.
Update: My current groove is 'Folk Art. Love doing it.
