Artist Statement I have been a professional artist and photographer for over ten years. In that time, I have worked on many globally syndicated projects. Despite commercial success, nothing is more meaningful to me than my own exploration of image making. Many of my projects start with a narrative regardless of the subject. People might wonder how this process applies to landscape photography. My response is that the land has a story to tell and a season apparent in all imagery. The celebration of my Midwestern experience was born with my mother instilling an ethic of appreciation for nature very early on in my life. That constant youthful wonder persists in my outings as I am tirelessly searching for magical moments while I travel the diverse tapestries of the Wisconsin experience.
